For March, the Wutherich & Co. Composite was down 5.8%.
Geopolitics certainly picked up in March with significant fallout for financial markets. Many of our companies reported their most recent quarters during the month and discussed their outlooks. So far, our companies are showing relatively little direct exposure to these events though knock-on effects are appearing here and there.
Intense geopolitical and economic upheaval continues to create discomfort and uncertainty for market participants. In environments like this, we focus on the fundamentals of our holdings which, for the most part, continue to be very strong. As it has for decades, we see our approach to investing as helping us through this environment and providing us with good long-term returns for years to come.
