Monthly Message

The Wutherich & Co. Composite was up 0.5% in March. This compares with the S&P 500, down 1.6%, the DJIA down 0.4%, the NASDAQ down 1.3%, the S&P/TSX down 1.9%, while the BMO Small Cap Index was down 3.8%.

The blood has largely been let in our Energy related names, though for the next two or three quarters, we could see more. With one or two possible exceptions, we see our Energy holdings getting through this and being in a good position to resume growth in the future. As always…
